First visit
Before you come
Walk in during open hours or book a chair. A first visit runs about a quarter hour longer than the rest.
What to wear
Loose clothes that roll up past your elbows and knees, and socks you can take off. You stay dressed.
What to bring
A list of your medicines, a water bottle and something quiet to read. Leave your phone on silent.
What happens
A short conversation, then you pick a chair and a blanket, your needles go in, and you rest for about an hour.
Tell us first
Before we start, tell us about any of these. We will change what we do, or skip it.
Pregnancy
Blood thinners or a bleeding disorder
A pacemaker or other implanted device
Lymph nodes removed on one side
Fear of needles
Paying
You pay after your visit, what you chose within the posted range. See how fees work.
How fees workAfterward
Drink water and take your time standing up. Tell us at your next visit how you felt.
Hold a chair
Walk-ins are welcome. Booking ahead holds a chair at your time.
